DirectConnect is always looking for volunteers who can help our organization grow in service to others. Many volunteer opportunities are available – just about anyone can participate. Best of all, you don’t have to speak a foreign language or travel overseas to get involved.

More than half of the world’s population lives in extreme poverty today (income of less than $2.50 per day). In a world with that much suffering, what can one person do?

It can all seem too overwhelming. Some people simply throw up their hands and say: “What’s the point in even trying?”
