There are many people in the world who lack the basics in life such as food, clean water, medicine and clothing. We recently visited a small village area in southern Belarus that is poor and in need. We delivered food baskets that included bulk items that would last for a time. This included flour, sugar, salt, cooking oil and the like. Most of the people try to raise much of their needed food, but some things need to be purchased which many people cannot afford to do.
