DCHA Team consisting of Steve Doty and Jamie Kita from Michigan, along with Bill Compton, Ryan Compton, Lauren Gilday and Debra Bean from Eugene, Oregon, traveled to Belarus on a new mission.
Two of our primary objectives of this trip were to attend a youth camp with a focus on developing life skills and to provide aid to the abandoned babies home in Borisov.
Bill Compton has much experience in this type of youth activity, and he did a great job in guiding the young people through many challenges they faced in various team building scenarios.
Ryan Compton (Bill’s 16-year-old son) and Lauren Gilday participated in the activities.
